About the name PURPLE CHIPS, it is defined as the royalty of the blue chip stocks. It refers to the highest quality with the lowest risk of stocks. Moreover, the term means steady, long-term growth rather than short-term success. Hence, I came up with the name of my website because I want something like a purple chip.

​I am a 31-year-old Filipina residing in London, United Kingdom. I have been living in this big, bustling, metropolis for more than 6 years now. Now, I am working as a part-time intensive care nurse in a private hospital. While keeping a stable job to pay off monthly overheads, I am gradually working on my pursuit to change career towards Finance, Business and Tech. I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at a University in London (which hopefully I could finish in 2 years from now). I am aware that this transition is a gradual process which requires commitment and strong willpower. It is a baby step process and in due time, I will get there (and eventually gain my MBA! Claiming it!).

Outside of my work and studies, I love socializing and drinking with friends. I see myself just drinking and chilling with amazing people by the beach and living life to the fullest. I have always considered myself as quite nerdy and anything tech would throw me into unwavering fixation. Hence, my laptop is like an extension of myself. Aside from this, I like to read books, watch movies (of course, I am sucker for Netflix) and play video games (Mobile Legends) among other things.

I have started this platform to be able to share my little story about triumph and failure as I traverse through life, which is always growing and changing. I will share my insights and experiences (and also mistakes) about my journey towards Freedom and hopefully could help you in your pursuit of your own definition of Freedom.
